I’m a writer and editor with nearly 20 years of experience working for brands like People Inc., Hearst Corporation, and NBCUniversal. Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to stories about food, travel, style, and culture, and I love collaborating with other creative people to bring them to life.
Most recently, I was deputy editor at Southern Living, where I oversaw digital and print content about food, travel, and culture, from tomato sandwiches to the politics of potlikker to small towns worth the drive. During that time, Southern Living won several awards from the International Association of Culinary Professionals and was nominated in the Home Cooking category at the James Beard Foundation Media Awards.
Previously, I was features editor at Food Network Magazine, where I grilled pizza with Bobby Flay, harvested honey from Ted Allen’s rooftop, and visited Ree Drummond’s ranch.
I’m a South Florida native and have a journalism degree from the University of Central Florida. After living in New York City for 15 years, I now reside in beautiful Birmingham, Alabama. If I’m not thrifting or exploring the city, you’ll find me at Birdsong Farmers’ Market, where I sell Cericola Granola, my small-batch olive oil granola brand.
